Our blonde bombshells at viva la blonde love spending time under the sun in Summer.
Whether you’re at the beach or by the pool, maintaining blonde hair if you are naturally darker can be a challenge.
How to manage blonde hair regrowth
Viva babe Lissie has always had a bright blonde mane, but since going shorter she felt her regrowth was more noticeable. Lissie visited our city studio last week for a little change.
After a consultation, Chantelle suggested softening her bleach blonde and going a shade darker at the roots.
“I softened her overall bleach blonde base by adding pale caramel tones through the ends. I then added in the darker pieces and lowlights through the roots and midlengths, keeping the hairline bright. I finished Lissie’s hair with a creamy gold toner which was applied all over for a prettier/softer tone,” said Chantelle.
For the shoot we created a voluminous, natural wave by *blow drying Lissie’s hair and then using the Cloud Nine Wand. The Cloud Nine styling wand is the perfect iron that protects the hair from heat damage.
*NOTE: The Kevin Murphy Young Again Oil was applied to Lissie’s hair before the blow dry. This weightless leave-in treatment oil is the most refreshing product your hair needs after a wash.
The Kevin Murphy Young Again treatment can be purchased online here or in both viva la blonde Salons, North Fremantle and Perth CBD.
After the curling Chantelle used Kevin Murphy Powder Puff on the roots to add further volume and texture to the hair. Powder puff gives that little extra hold and texture that dry shampoo may not give – perfect for an event or in the case a photoshoot!
